Our Green Silicon Carbide Grit typically contains ≥98% SiC, with stable chemical composition, high hardness and consistent cutting performance. Detailed chemical analysis can be provided with the COA.
Green silicon carbide generally has higher purity, greater hardness and sharper cutting edges than black silicon carbide. It is commonly used for carbide tools, 도예, glass and precision grinding, while black silicon carbide is widely used for general grinding, blasting and refractory applications.
For carbide tool grinding, F46–F120 is commonly used. Coarser grits provide faster material removal, while finer grits provide a smoother surface finish. We can recommend the appropriate grit size based on your grinding process and required finish.
